Top Fuel Motorcycle Champion Chris Matheson wrote history last weekend at the Bursons Auto Parts Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway, when he became the first person to break into the 5-second zone on a motorcycle over the 400-metre strip.
Matheson released a statement today thanking all the fans for their ongoing support, well wishes and kind words.
Matheson appreciated all the Sydney Dragway staff, officials, Fire crew, the Medical team and the crew preparing the track for teams like ours to compete on. The guys and girls who clean and maintain the venue and security who keep the show on the road.
